I like it hot
Today I had the chance to ride up in the spot as a Captain at station 4 on Engine 24 we had one fire at a plant in the trash compactor. There was this material in this machine packed so tight and had some sort of water repellent on it that as we spared water on it it would just roll off of it. We had to end up getting the waste truck over to pick up the dumpster and pour the material out and bring in a backhoe in from the city shop to spread it all out. Just so we could make sure that it was all out.

That sounds exciting! How long have you been a firefighter? My uncle was a firefighter for years. He told us stories about finding "treasures" in fires that the home owners no longer wanted. He'd bring them home, clean them up, and wow, some of those items were really nice!
